This is Magnus and his crew is Kitok.
He contacted me sometime in the spring asking if I wanted to be in a music video for the song "STHLM City".
But why would I be in it?
Well it's about Stockholm and I'm mentioned in the song.
I liked the song so I brought Peggy and we went up on the roof (of WeSC) and did it.
Then they had a gig on Wednesday and I had heard their new song ("Paradise Jokkmokk") on the radio one time resonantly, when I swung by Ingemar's place.
I've listen to it nonstop since. I can easily say that I'm obsessed with the song Paradise Jokkmokk. I have it on repeat and listen to it over and over. And then after listening to it for the first half of the day I think; ok! I have to put something else on, this is crazy. So I put on "Shuffle songs" but still hoping it will come on. And when it doesn't I get disappointed and without really even thinking about I put it on.

Fan va phett de va å se(å höra) Paradise Jokkmokk live! Fan va den låten har fastnat i mitt huvud. Vilken hitt!!

I tried to schedule this post but obviously it didn't work as planed.
This is River Phoenix,
He died 21 years ago.(1993 he was 23) I knew his death was drug related but I didn't know exactly. What I've resonantly found out is that he died from exactly the same mix of drugs that I used to do. Maybe he had been clean for a wile and when he started again he died. I know and knew that it was really dangerous to start and stop because the body no longer has the same tolerance after you quit for a wile. It's actually always dangerous. But I didn't care, maybe he didn't either. He may have died on the street, so sad.

On November 24, 1993, Arlyn "Heart" Phoenix published an open letter in the Los Angeles Times on her son's life and death. It read, in part:

“ His friends, co-workers and the rest of our family know that River was not a regular drug user. He lived at home in Florida with us and was almost never a part of the "club scene" in Los Angeles. He had just arrived in L.A. from the pristine beauty and quietness of Utah where he was filming for six weeks. We feel that the excitement and energy of the Halloween nightclub and party scene were way beyond his usual experience and control. How many other beautiful young souls, who remain anonymous to us, have died by using drugs recreationally? It is my prayer that River's leaving in this way will focus the attention of the world on how painfully the spirits of his generation are being worn down.

This is "Hakki" and this is very interesting to me.
I remember hanging out with him, watching him skate, skating with him and drinking and getting drunk with him. Looking back now I think I never saw him not drunk or drinking. I don't know because I was probably drinking and drunk myself.
Anyway I like this interview because it's inspiration for me to keep being sober. I had no idea he'd been sober now for as long as he has. Good job and congratulations!!!

I tried to post some clips on here and I'm not sure if they work for everyone that might have tried to watch them so I'll write what they are. And link the clips to the text.
The first one is John Lydon saying that Russell Brand is an idiot for not voting.
The second one is Russell Brand responding to John Lydon. Saying he loves him and the Sex Pistols.
The third one is two dudes talking about these clips. And what's special about the third one is that the one guy refers to John Lydon as ; " You know... from Flip Sorry!"
Click the highlighted text for link. Let's se if that works. I'm trying to figure this blog stuff out still.

This is Oscar. He is a guard at Kulturhuset. And after the closing of the gallery for the night when I was leaving and pretty much everyone else had left the building he called out to me like; "Hey excuse me, hello!" And instantly I had in one second played out a scenario in my brain. And it went something like this;
Oh okay well, what the fuck now!!! I fucking work here, for fuck sake! Come on I'm leaving! I haven't done anything wrong (I don't think). And then a huge argument, fight, police and I get arrested. But that didn't happen because as it turns out he's a fan and just wanted a photo with me. So he gets a photo and then I get a photo with him for me and told him what I thought at first. He said it's ok and he's used to that reaction. So why did I think trouble straight away? Could be because in the past it has been 99,9% of the time trouble when a guard what's my attention.
But I hope that one day I'm not gonna have to think something negative straight away as soon as I see or hear an authority type of person. Because evidently it's not always trouble. ☮

Today in "Sergel Skate" , "From crime to culture" as I'm gonna now ad on to the title of the exhibition. So it's now called:
"Sergels Torg Skateboarding 1978-2014, From Crime to Culture"
Another reason it's so crazy this is happening. It was a crime to ride a skateboard on public space before. But now there's an exhibition about it and not illegal to do anymore.
So there was the book release of the No Limit book; Skateboard Not Just For Girls, debate/ discussion panel with No Limit, Martin Karlsson and FATTA, and city walk guided tour with Martin Karlsson.

Skating down there in the fountain ("Sergel Hippen") as a kid I remember looking up here thinking; what the fuck are they doing up there? Office ? Maybe it was back then.
Either way there was NO WAY that I could have ever even imagined that up here would be a big exhibition about what we did down there.
Oh ye, and I'm the host! That's just fucking crazy. Times they have a-changed!!!

The exhibition is held 3-12 of October at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern Stockholm. It's got pictures and video all the way back from 1978 when skateboarding came to Sweden until 2014. And other skate/art stuff.

Doing a thing for Ride Sverige and they asked me what makes me happy. And this is one thing;
Walks with Peggy makes me happy. When on walkies I observe her, thinking about what she might be thinking and that makes me (for that moment) not think about myself and what the fuck I'm doing on this planet.

"Net hate" continued...
So to sum up and to try to explain what I think happens. When some one writes shit about me to me, but on for example Thrashers Facebook or my Instagram (or any other public page) a lot of people will see/read it. And that's not nice because it will make them feel like shit. So please if you have to write something negative and you can't hold it in. Just write it straight to me so that NO ONE else needs to see it.
Thanx ☮
